Just wondering if anyone has pictures of any of their life of faith dolls... I am also thinking of buying Violet Travilla she looks so gorgeous! Wondering if she is in person, or any of the others? Thanks in advance gals!

I ordered one of the outfits with a 10.00 off code. I just got a e-mail saying it was sent out. I will let you know how well the outfit is made.

I have the four Life of Faith dolls and some of their outfits. The dolls, being all vinyl, are much heavier than the AG dolls but they're quality is excellent and the outfits I have are all beautifully made. I don't think anyone could be disappointed by them.

In a little under a couple weeks I'll have one of the dolls, and would be happy to take lots of photos or answer any questions you might have. I'm working on a FAQ, so feel free to PM or e-mail me!
Violet appears to be the most beautiful in the catalogs, but in person they are all pretty much equally cute (three have the same face mold). I think Millie suffers a bit because she has blonde hair and they tend to put her in neutrals instead of spring colors, which makes her look washed out.
My favorite "in person" was Elsie, mainly because she is SO different from any AG doll (Millie reminds me of Kirsten, Laylie of Addy, and Violet of Samantha). My mom's favorite was Laylie. Laylie would possibly be my favorite if she were actually an historical character (from Martha Finley's original books). However, she is a new character added to the line.
I don't know which one I'm getting, but I did see a receipt that said "Elsie" on it. I have a feeling I'll be an expert on Elsie questions!

I recently added a "profile" of the Life of Faith dolls to Just Magic (link in my signature). Click on Meet the Dolls on the left then find Life of Faith on the list.
I have Breezy Point Treasures Elsie, and LoF Millie and Laylie.

Maria,
Thanks for posting so much interesting information on your website! I was really fascinated by the information about the original manufacturers. I saw the dolls when they first came out. Or, should I say, when I first THOUGHT they came out? I had no idea they were made by a previous company prior to Mission City Press, nor that they changed Millie so much. I like Millie?s original hairstyle and color and wish they had retained it, although making Elsie a ringlet-ed girl is much more accurate to her original stories.
Thanks again for writing about the line!

I'm glad you liked it Melissa! I know someone who would really like a Breezy Point Treasures Mildred Keith, so if anyone ever runs across one (and doesn't want it themselves) let me know!! She's been looking for her for years. Personally, I wish I had bought Violet instead of my LoF Millie but Violet wasn't out when I got Millie.
The next profile I'm working on is for Heidi Ott Faithful Friends. Does anyone here have any of those?
